Criteria For Licensing
The Selangor Turf Club traces its beginnings to the efforts of a group of amateur racing enthusiasts, mainly British officers in the late 's, to establish a venue.
Description:Today, the Penang Turf Club is the only racecourse equipped with an hole golf course, with seven of the holes within the infield area. One of its breakthrough features was the state-of-the-art lighting which allowed for night racing. The museum and art gallery, built in , provide a record of the fishing, agricultural and natural history of the island and the Botanical Gardens, which covers 30 hectares, is the only one in Malaysia. Horses that satisfy the minimum criteria are not entitled as of right to registration. Trials will be run over a distance of not less than metres. The Club holding the meeting will not be responsible for any travelling expenses if this regulation has not been complied with.
