King Prawns with Ginger and Spring Onions 姜葱大虾
These prawns are full of Thai flavour with kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, lime and fish sauce, and you can get them on the table faster than Thai takeaway.
Mix sweet chilli sauce, fish sauce, lime juice and sesame oil together and set aside. Add garlic, kaffir lime leaves.
Description:Carefully add in the prawns if might splatter and blanch in the hot oil for 2 mins. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce together. Trim off the whiskers and sharp points around the head. In a wok or deep frying pan, add in vegetable oil about 2 inches in height and heat till hot. Pour the oil into a glass container or bowl, reserving some in the wok. Drizzle 1 tsp of the prawn oil and turn off heat.
