Description:Emu Ridge became especially popular as a name because in Belconnen's case "Belconnen" has been used as the name of the entire district, as well as the central suburb in that district. Phillip in Woden Valley , Greenway in Tuggeranong , and Weston in Weston Creek ; Civic, or City , is considered the centre of North Canberra and Canberra as a whole , while no one suburb is readily identifiable as South Canberra 's centre, although Manuka - a shopping precinct in the suburbs of Griffith and Forrest, Forrest - may be considered by many to be that district's centre. The Canberra College is situated in Phillip. A small strip of shale from the older and lower Yarralumla Formation is just to the west of Easty Street. The service was a bit ordinary with the waitress not remembering who had ordered what and they were a bit slow to take away people's plates after they had finished eating. There were daily specials and some of our party ordered off the black board. The restaurant's decor is OK but it was very noisy and it was totally packed with little room between the tables
