If you plan on being a solo queue twink, I vote for resto druid, because if Hpal and disc/holy priest are the only two viable options at 39, really.

Description:Figured I'd do a list of tips here first, since it's difficult to know what might not come naturally to a new player. These are independent of spec; a shadowpriest is still a priest, as is a holy dps priest, and healing is still a tool that should be utilized even when you aren't specced for it. Even worthless ones, such as Fade and Abolish Disease can eat another global cooldown. Be aware of mana issues, so don't bother recasting buffs unless there is a good reason e. Many of your abilities are instant cast, and even the ones that aren't instant aren't really designed to be spammed.
